iso is cd/dvd disc image, you have to mount a virtual CD/DVD drive. On a PC (xp, vista) this is done by programs like: Daemon Tools Lite, you have to find a simular tool for your AZBox HD.

I have experience with some iso files (movie dvd back-up) that can be played on azbox and you can browse menu as dvd player. Some others cannot be played but I don't know why this difference.
I suppose that it depends of menu structure of the iso (which software we use to make the copy, etc). For Win user I heard that iso with nero should work.

I also use Daemon Tools Lite for this and it works very well and is quite easy to install and set up. :D

if it`s on your pc then vlc media player will play it
if not you can open it with dvd shrink and convert to vob`s and vts files

mount script (plugin) you find here

if you want iso on azbox you have to build a hdd in the box
or put your iso on usb pen ;)

The Azbox will play ISO's and the menu system of the DVD ISO also works but not all ISO's will work on the AZBOX at the moment, not sure why not maybe in later firmwares more ISO's will play?

hi satstarter is there any info on installing this plugin please

Put the mountCIFS folder in /EMU/OpenXCAS/
set the attributes on 755 for cifsmount.sh
in the cifsmount.sh put lines like this

mount.cifs //192.168.1.0/folder /DATA/movie -o user=your username,pass=your pasword

first ip = your local PC ip
folder = wich folder you have your iso or movies stored in
/DATA/movie = the folders on azbox wich wil be mounted
user = name on your pc
pass = pasword on your pc

then reboot the box go to Plugins then OpenXCAS
activate & Priority
set mountCIFS as activated now you should see your folder from pc on azbox by movies

DON'T forget to put a usb pen in the azbox otherwise he wont mount :D
