i been to my local xxxlin the got dish 1.80 for less £ 100 i needs one for nilesat i need some advice which best dish for nilesat
i got big garden i live in leeds

other will help m8 but id say you need a high quality 1.8 or a 2.4 for the H tp's,,and not heard the best reports about matlins dishes

You can forget that dish,it's a fortec.
Tried one,its a load of crap.
Correctly assembled and pulled in less than my 1.2 channelmaster.
If you want nilesat,you will need to spend on a quality dish.I exported my fortec to Spain where it was to be used on Astra 28 degrees to which it's more suited.

Some advice Martin don't buy Jonsa 1.8 cheap but hopeless.

i been to my local satellite shop i been told with 1.50 cm garbitini dish u recieve most of nilsat is that true
or i go for channel master 1.80

Go for the Channel Master 1.8 you will not regret did.

If he takes it back when you don't receive nilesat. Did you check your line of sight, that it is possible to catch Nilesat from your garden?

You will need more than a good quality 1.8m dish to get horizontal channels from Nilesat in Leeds. More likely 3-3.5m dish needed for all weather conditions and times of day. See post 14 in link below

no H transponders here either - using a well tuned 1.8 channel master -- north west yorkshire -- 45 miles west of leeds

just to add the dish was tuned untill it squeaked also tried precision 1.8m prime focus with invacom .3 lnb with no luck the precision was also used for c band with 13k lnb with good results
