octagon/totaltv card

Can someone tell me if any of the octagon models support totaltv card ?
if yes do I need to do any software updates like patching it ?

318,518 models support ttv card

if I use octagon 318 or 518 do I still need to update the card from time to time in the official echolite receiver ?

I think there is no auto update for this smartcard in the 518.
