Hi
I am trying to CS with a friend who runs CCcam on his dreambox.
He has set up a F: line in his cfg file and sent me the C: line to add to my cfg file.

I followed this tutorial to install CCcam https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=112811
No problems there.

When i use my pc's web browser to check the status of CCcam (http://axboz-ip:16001 it appears to be running, when i click the "Server" tab, i see his ip address and port under "host", nothing under "connected", CCcam-s2s under "type", nothing under "version" or "node id", 0 under "cards", and nothing under "CAID/Idents"
So it looks like its not trying to connect. He is also not seeing me connected.

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? this is all quite new to me, thank you for your patience. :D

Thanks.
I dont think there is a problem with the C: line he sent me as he has set other people up to leech of him before. He has also double checked the F: on his CFG file.
The c: looks something like this...
C: his-ip 12000 user pass { 0:0:2 }

More likely to be a problem my end.
Would it have anything to do with my box being conected via wifi or my firmware version? (0.9.2880)
I am connected via a linksys router on a cable connection.

First test internet connection ( you can do that in the settings menu )

Well Cccam runs and is on air, you have a problem with 1 off the lines, either the F line or the C line, something isn't right.

As a client you don't need to open any port, your friend however needs to open TCP port 12000 ( if thats the port he's using )

Also right way for C line is:

C: serveradres pass port no { 0:0:3 }

Everthing between { } is optional .

http://azboxip:16001 proofs Cccam works OK on your site

Are you sharing a card ?
Or are you just sharing his card ?

If you are only just sharing his, then i cant see why you need any F Line ??

have you got an dyndns account ?
I think you need one to do this especially if you are both sharing !!

No i'm just gonna leech from him for a while, so im not sharing a card for now.
Sorry if i was'nt clear in my previous posts, but i am only adding a C: line, no F: line.
He has added a F: line in his config for me.

If i was to give you a cline it would be

C: juninhoisgod.dyndns.org 12000 sly666 sly666

his F line would be
F: sly666 sly666

So my dyndns is juninhoisgod

Are you saying his cline that he gave you looks nothing like the above ?

No, the c: line he gave me looks just like above.

He has a few other friends leeching from him, and set them up with no problems which makes it think its something my end which is wrong.

Although my CCcam looks to be running when i check it via http://myboxip:port it doesnt seem to want to conenct.

UPDATE!

My friend just called me and said he can now see me online!
Rang home & got the misses to check via http://azboxip:16001 and it seems to be connected!!! showing 169 cards shared etc etc.
I can only think there must have been a internet connection problem last night.

However she tried a few scrambled channels and they dont decode.
Do i need updated key files or something?
Also i noticed from other posts my CCcam.cfg files points to various files under var/etc dreambox directories.
ie..

SOFTKEY FILE : /var/keys/SoftCam.Key
AUTOROLL FILE : /var/keys/AutoRoll.Key
CAID PRIO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.prio
PROVIDERINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.providers
CHANNELINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.channelinfo

Do i need to edit these so they read EMU/lib for the Azbox before it will decode?

Making progress slowly!

Not really much you can get wrong.

So you type in your ip:16001 and comes up with a CCCam with some tabs ?

So that sounds okay

You do know that it sometimes takes ages for channels to un Scramble !!!!

Goto a FTA channel and then goto a channel from your mates subscription and keep trying and be patient, sometimes i have to wait a min or two, sometimes its straight away.

Also, keep re-starting the cam in plugins as i need to do that all the time but i get there in the end.

Can you post a copy of your cccam.cfg file up here ? Just copy and paste the text but delete a little bit of the cline so noone copies it ;-)

Many thanks.
I will post my (edited) config file later tonight when i get home.
I've got a linux geek coming round tonight, so he will prob have it running in 5 seconds while making me look stupid!

No worries people, i have it running now.
The connection problem seemed to resolve itself overnight, and the decoding problem just needed the box rebooting.

All the standard def channels work straight away, but the HD channels come up as "scrambled" which is resolved by changing up one channel then back again. I have to do this every time i select a HD channel.
Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for everyones help in getting me up n running! :respect-055:

Goran, are you stalking me ?

What is your problem ?

I am here trying to help if i can and you follow me causing hassle !

What was the issue of my comment ?

I was confirming something that i had read?

You really are a sad individual as far as i can see !!

Actually, I am trying to figure out what sad individuals like you are doing: as in trying to be "smart" and make others run their errands, fix their problems...

You said you read it, even took offence to Hans' comments but both him and me are correct. You do not read, at least not with any seriousness!!!

And that is really sad!!! Thinking you're "very clever"... Being "surprised" at CCcam basic info...

We will agree to disagree

If you dont want to help then dont, if you want to abuse me, then don't

I am assuming you are not English and some of your comments are being mis translated which is a problem when in text format.

So from now on, dont reply to my threads and i wont on any of yours unless i find them helpful.

THx for trying but for some reason, you were not able to help me in this instance.

All the best

Paul

Thanks very much for your help, and everyone else who replied.
I got CCcam working with your help.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a forum "busy-body" on any every forum these days, with such useful posts as "read my sticky" and "use the search button"
Just gotta ignore these people. Lol. :sifone:
