Ach, a silly mistake on my part, as I presumed it will work like MCC, in terms of path to Mbox...

It was not just this [MCC style]: /EMU/OpenXCAS/MboxCAS

but this instead:

/EMU/OpenXCAS/MboxCAS/mbox_module

Also, this to mbox.cfg:

/EMU/OpenXCAS/MboxCAS/mbox.cfg

Choose Linux/Remote, give it a name and Save Profile, then activate...

Let's investigate, hehe... ;) :)

Always worth looking here as well as other forums, don't forget that it's a cross platform tool so always keep am eye on the Dreambox section for updates.

I have been using it for a few days, for my skystar 2 hd and dreambox.

On another forum, Sorry cant remember which, I posted a message saying that it would'nt work on the AZbox hd, The developer kindly wrote this new version for the AZbox.

Now that we have some software developed for the box, I'm starting to get a bit optamistic about our box, Hope it lasts.

All I want now is new firmware and new version of mbox without Openxcas.

Talking about Mbox, What is happening with the development.

As I can only speak English and Welsh, I struggle with German, Polish etc.

Any chance Goran you could translate this better than google, this post from

Cant translate, but Situation is, Mower has written yesterday in shoutbox, that mbox isnt dead. he will develope a 1.0 Version in next Days.
Most guys are sick about no information, so now they have and can better wait but Time is the same :)

The translation by Google was poor and the thread seemed interesting.

Happy now about Mbox, I started thinking it was bad news.

- Added Mbox Log filter
- Added posibility of enable mbox Watchdog with stopped log
- Bugfix: reload custom config files when change or reactivate profile; added manual list reload button
- Fix text coloring at config files editor
- Added connection timeout when the web server not responding (10 seconds)

I reported crashes and the author said he was aware of it and got working...

It seems it is working fine now - no crash for a few hours!!!
