ITV HD on 6800

Hope someone can help, cannot get itv hd, put in frequeny but no signal , Had it on before and ive not altered anthing so cannot understand why its gone. thanks baz

What frequency are you using, the one listed on flysat is as follows:

Hi aldo, thats the frequency i have been using + 11426h. It was working a few weeks ago but for some reason its gone off and i cannot get a signal for itv hd. dont know what to do next.:redface:

11426H SR 27500 FEC 2/3 (or Auto) VPID 3401 APID 3402 and strangely enough DVB-S QPSK and not DVB-S2
You should have picture and sound on Brit Shorts same transponder and satellite.
If it still not working try a PID search on that satellite and that transponder:
Menu
Installation (Left hand)
PID Search (Right hand)
select satellite
select transponder: 11426
select polarity: H
press Red button

Hi giga,tried what you said and even get a signal on 11426 or 11428. Just done a complete rescan of 28.8 and when it gets to 11426 or 11428 theres still no signal. Wondering if i need to do a factory reset and put every thing back on and see if that works. Also when i go to fast scan (which i have never used) its only give you option for 19% E so im thinking ive a problem with the reciever.

Have you tried deleting that TP, reboot the box, and install one of the other frequencies suggested.

dunno if this helps but if i scan 11428 H on my pc card i get video brit shorts but also get radio or audio only channels.
and by editing one of those you get itv hd.

do a frequency scan on the ITV HD transponder (11428) and then look at the audio-only (radio) channels which appear.
look for a channel where the audio PID is the same as that for ITV HD (3402) then set the blank video PID to 3401 and the video type to H.264. Then as if by magic ITV HD appeared.

dunno if this will work for you but it worked for me except i just get a screen saying "itv HD this service is currently unavailable.

28.8°E? if it is a motor dish: 28.5°E for eurobird, Astra 28.2°E (BBC) if you have these split? Readjust your dish with remote to 28.2°E
in the menu:
Satellite Setup
Satellite:
Transponder: 11426 H
LNB Power: ON
LNB type: Universal (unless you have something else)
LNB Freq: 9750/10600 (unless you have something else)
22Khz: AUTO
Bar Indicators:
Level should show in Yellow
Quality should show in Blue

Thanks for all your help ,ive got ot back on now through re-installing an older channel list, but still dont know why i could not get a signa because the settings for the trensponder are still the same on the older channel list.:respect-057:
