Hi,
I stuck this in the wrong spot so mods can delete the other post?
I was looking on a sat shops's website and saw there are 2 sat tuners for the Azbox. Does the DVB-S2 tuner also do DVB-S? If so seems odd that Azbox would even sell the DVB-S tuner.
I gather the Azbox comes with the DVB-S2 tuner?
Thanks.

OH! I like my Azbox, great for 4.2.2 & dvb-s2 feeds and can only get better.

WTF !
Calm down Guys LOL
Small misunderstanding
Yes I do enjoy My FAB! box As much as you enjoy your Azbox LOL
YESTrue DVB-s2 does what s do and more but 2xdvb-s or s2 tuners not works on azbox ...
And I know it's very frustrating (ex-Azbox owner) I didn't mean to be rude ,sorry...

I was messing around here Because There is nothing going on over DM8000 forums LOL
I still couldn't get why did you start that 4xTuner conversation thou :D
:chillpill::chillpill::chillpill: :chillpill::chillpill::chillpill:

I Promise I'll No more remind you 2xSatellite Tuner :D

P.s I'm not Against AZBOX ;) it's a good 1080p ,HDMI,FTA receiver,with a great price and FW problems will be sorted in a year or two for sure...

REGARDS!

Thanks for the reply IKO and no offence taken! I like my Azbox for feeds 4.2.2 /dvb-s2 which no other box can handle at the money. FW is a problem but hey if everything worked perfectly it would'nt be much of a hobby!!!

Kind Regards amn

Dude
The Biggest Problem is Cccam but we shouldn't Blame to Opensat for that cos That is not the Duty of Opensat to public something illegal!
Other than Box works good apart from some Driver issues and once again It's the Sigma Guys not Opensat ;)
Cheers Fellas ;)

iko,

Does DM8000( considering its price) decode 4:2:2 feeds?

The only way I know to watch 4:2:2 feeds with a dreambox is to stream the pics to a PC.

@Sami
I'm not interested in 4:2:2 feeds to be honest ,I didn't even tried to find them with my Azbox ;)
over 10k channels available channels and not enough time to watch them :)
@heyhey
enjoy your new toy ;)
P.s:I do agree with you guys dm8000 well overpriced and specs are not as fresh as Azbox but works lightining fast and with perfect cs possibility, also webtv function is so important for me ;) dm8000 suits me better...
but I believe part of that money goes to dev. Groups ;) and that's clever...
imagine 3 developer groups work on Azbox ;)
