Just Added [ ESPN HD ] To my Sky HD Package ? Not too Impressed with the Picture the Now! Hope it gets better than this ? LOL

P.S Espn HD Logo at the side of the screen Looks Ok:D

Think it is just the programme that is on the Now [ Barca tv ] Adverts came on , Picture looks OK ? Kinda Fussy about HD ;) There upscaller must be crap on [ Barca tv ] ?? Mind you had a look at the SD Version , that was really crap:sifone:

Aren't they just using ****anta's old equipment, which probably explains the poor picture quality?

A good test will be West Ham Liverpool game on Saturday evening.

The video is the same as the Ѕky source, so it should be perfect.

Even with identical SD source material some broadcasters seem to muck up the quality.

All English PL matches come from the same source - classic case was DigitAlb always seemed to put out low quality video compared with Ѕky SD. DigitAlb were not the only ones.

DigitAlb seem to have got better this season.

Both used the same broadcast facilities company Arqiva, who work for just about every broadcaster in the UK, and many in europe too.

ESPN HD's bitrates look strong enough, see here:

Hi i have been saying for weeks now! The espn picture quality ( standard) is not really good...

apart from the poxy pictures!
wot about the bloody constant 4:3 format, black bars down the sides.
about time that they started deploying widescreen cameras more often as well.
