Does Azbox HD really support MPEG4 ?

My Premium plays MPEG4 material from SANYO 1080p XACTI camera only in slow-motion & freezes badly like it was a PENTIUM IV.

Also the new free HD platform of Polish TV - TVP - is not available to many of the Azbox owners who get NO SIGNAL message.

Yes it supports MPEG4 fine. Irish DTT is MPEG4 as is most HD channels and these all work perfectly.

No signal means the channel is not being received. Nothing to do with MPEG4. Probably somehting wrong with the transponder settings being used.

This may be the problem, which has nothing to do with Azbox.

It has nothing to do with the Spot Beam. I am in the middle of Poland.
NO SIGNAL.

Is that TP really working? I get no signal at all with my HTPC either (yes, it supports DVB-S2).

Some of Polish Azbox owners receive signal from this TP, others - don't. Nobody knows why.

Is on Spot Beam TVP Sport and other TVP channels? IF YES, than i can see them in Latvia with AzBox! :)

Hi,

I have Azbox HD premium and I can watch TVP from Astra 19/10862

To watch these chanels you need to change TP parameters:

Settings | TV Chanel | Tuner A.DVB-S | SAT/TP Edit and for TP 10862 change Modulation to DVB-S2/8PSK, Pilot to 0 and FEC to 8/9

What the Pilot setting means?

I have a few TPs where I have to set this from 0 to 1. When I watch those channels I suddenly loose the signal and I have to reboot the box in order to fix this.

AVCHD (.MP4) is not supported in the Movie section of Azbox HD.
The 1080p material freezes badly while same movie plays with no problem on 100 Euro worth, Realtek based Xtreamer...

Azbox have problems with high bitrate videos.
Try to copy that movie/clip to internal HDD and view the movie/clip from there.
