I have a LG 37LF66 LCD TV and both HDMI connectors are intermittent, and I suspect a dry joint on the connector as when I touch the HDMI cables I lose the signal, and I have tried different HDMI cables and input source.
HDMI-1 is unuseable unless I actually hold the cable plug to make it work.
Is it fairly simple to resolder the HDMI sockets on the TV?
only found 24fl66 service manual, should be simular?

omg!!!!!!! having read this thread,, it does start me to wonder,,, i mean one does buy a tv in the hope that it will work ,, and to have to solder something seems the last option i would do ,, .
no, I think it does mean don't wiggle with connectors, these are soldered on a PCB (Printed circuit board) and handle badly tension or stress on the leads. Always make the connection straight along and not angled. Have cables fixed so that these can't move in/on the connectors.
