i downloaded likra settings via panel.
but when i go into the channels in the menu those @ 1 west show up as unavailable.
i have set the bird to use usals in the menu.
then i found 1 west in the sat finder and tried to store it at position 2, but when i do this the lock on the bird disappears.

i can find 28, 13,19, 5 east all ok, but the dish sails past 16 east using usals!!

anyone any idea's to fix these problems?

cheers

first off you're on about 1w, then saying it goes straight past 16e?! Is this what you're meaning, or were you just on about 1 position...

Anyway, 16e requires a fairly large dish (at least 80cm of high gain), and 1w requires a large dish for some channels (e.g. focus sat requires at least 85cm high gain and in good weather conditions)...

Dont forget to set config to advanced on the bird you wanna save manually otherwise it just goes back to usals. Common mistake made manny times

Switch the usals option off for that bird and then you will see the field to enter the stored sats postion appear

for 1 west i have tried setting the bird for manual and it made no difference.

for 16 east the dish is plenty big enough, usals just ignores the actual position and points to nowhere in particular

I dont fully understand what stage you are stuck at.

1) have you ever had a signal at 0.8 ?
2) if you have its not just a case of storing a position in the satfinder menu
3) once you have stored a position in the sat finder menu you MUST go
Menu/ setup/ services searching/ tuner config

Once here you need to select the bird you wanna switch usals off with by selecting advanced tune.

Once you switch off usals in the drop down menu you will see the location field open to input the number in which you chose to stored0.8 in the satfinder. enter the same in that field.

Excuse me if you have already done this but like i said in my last post its the most common mistake made time and time again

The symptoms you are describing are typical issues when not set up correct in advanced tuner config.:smash:

I had a similar problem and had to plug in my dm500 to retune 16e and restore the position.
