You need a two motor dish to get this satellite.

I can get 8w ok but not those feeds - was mentioned on another thread that the dish needs to be elevated 2degrees to get these.

I can get the orbit package 95% S & Q and on the feeds above the signal strenth is about 80% but the quality just went to 0 after a short time.

I have just switched to this feed

7.0e

Frequency: 10982 - Pol: V - SR: 13333 - FEC: 7/8
Category: Sport - Football
Transmitted in: MPEG-2 4:2:2
Comments: Wiener Neustadt-Mattersburg

All working fine.

Could it be an LNB problem using a low symbolrate eg 6111:smash:

There is no fault with your LNB/Receiver.

As I said you need a two motor dish to get this inclined orbit satellite at all times during the day.

Telecom 2D is not the same satellite as Atlantic Bird 2 at 8west.

Thanks for the info.it just looked odd only to have a signal between 19.00 & 19.45:cup-006:

If you look on the lyngsat site you will see that Telcom 2D at 7.75 west has a maximum inclination of 3.12 degrees, Also When the feeds are reported you can look on this site and see if your dish needs to be moved up or down to get these feeds .

The broadcasters have two motives to use these inclined satelites 1 they cost less 2 and less people can watch these feeds.

thats what was confusing i found the feed on the live feeds website seached with azbox found feed with good signal and watched for a good half hour(before kick off) and then signal Q went to zero but signal strenth was about 90%.

Strange this one because I have received feeds on these frequencies and I only have 1 motor. Very touchy and had to mess for a while but was able to watch S****horpe V Preston last week. Guess I'm just lucky with my setup :)

With inclined orbit satellites the position of the satellite varies slightly through out the day i.e it is not static. At some stage through a 24 hr period you might be able to pick up the satellite correctly and view channels. At other times the satellite will have moved out of alignment with your dish position. It is not the side to side motion of a dish with one motor that will solve this. A second motor has to be attached to tilt the dish up or down slightly.

There are two more sats very close together at that position they are newer and and not inclined so we can assume that the game you watched was on one of them.

Last night I was able to get 4 of the games but I had to move the dish at lest 4 times to keep the signal.
