around the web including DJBlue's download area show a AZBox HD MultiCAS v157E D06 but when installed this shows AZBox HD MultiCAS v157E D04 with the module dated 05/09/2009 for both downloads.

What he means is that is what is in the emu_module. If you dump the binary and look inside you will find that.

It is opensats responsibilty to develop the box maybe not cccam but other addons and plugins aswell as bug fixes too
Opensat should be doing this for several reasons but to name Two

1 = to bring the box inline with the specifications stated on the Box
2 = to keep its customers happy and build up a following like dreambox etc.. from which they could sell many more boxes and maximise there profits.

This one doesn't appear to use a cccam.cfg file and in 'Smart Card Splitter' leave it set to 'OFF', then alter the splitterdata as follows: (Watch out password is spelt wrong in last two in original file)

mine neither, it though its not working. i just edited a CCCam part of the splitter.txt file with mu locally connected dreambox. It connects only, no share created.

This tool is so bad... guess who thought about Firmware is behind this too... it makes sense... no clue what so ever...

Now instead of fixing Firmware and releasing the long waited features (dual tuner support like 2xDVB-S or real recording with 2 tuners... and highbitrate issues...) they release or waste time on this???

If they don't add newcamd to MultiCAS or CCcam Server part it is useless for most people... at least mgcamd with CCcam allows you to use newcamd or mpcs to reshare with native CCcam. So MultiCAS will take over our cardreaders and not share? great!

I wish they would help release mgcamd with CCcam instead or fix CCC or dvbapi those were a lot better options IMHO

multicas is just a read your card EMU.
if u don't want to use it u have other options...mbox,etc.
i bet final version will be a lot better. multicas is the official EMU of opensat. they work side by side with firmware. so it will fit like a glove

just checked the WAN side. For a first release BETA, this is very promising.

There are regular glitches alright but zapping speed is much better than the native ccccam and more stable in actually getting a signal, with native, you often have to change channels a bit to get the one you want opened.

Novasports produced a lot of messages in the emu whereas ALFA Cyprus was normal.

i cant test timeshift or recording.

ccc was confusing the 2 irdeto packages i have because they have the same caid and neither one was clearing

Check via telnet that cccam is not running via any auto start scripts 'use ps in telnet session'
I just renamed my lib folder to stop cccam native from loading and then rebooted.

Because Mulitcas is semi official AZBox EMU meaning it will be supported. There have been many versions of mulitcas released already

I've put Multicas under Openxcas. I've edite splitterdata (with or wothout blank after=).
I've deactivated my dvapicas, but everytime i try to activate cccamcas (i suppose it's mulicas) my box crashes and i've to rebbot.

Next, scroll back to the beginning of that output where it says that your CCcam server connection is fine or not.
If not, if not: check your splitterdata.txt file.
Finally (because you probably don't have an image yet) reboot your AZBOX and restart MultiCAS via OpenXCAS plugin (or dbf4all plugin :king-041: )

Dont work for me. Launch 'emu_module' from console, when i change channel i get something like this:

it has nothing to do with connection or server related problems
i m connecting to this server via wan with a cccam on a dreambox and i got amazing zapping speed... like fta and no freezes at all.....

if i try this on azbox with multicas... the first 15 minutes it works pretty good without freezes but then it gets very unstable....
i got a 5 sec freeze every 2-3 minutes.,...

btw.....
i m receiving from the server 2 irtedo cards with the same caid.....
CCC was not clearing the 2 packages at all....

yes this is on local share I have now tested most providers on sats 28.2,19e,16e,13e,5e and 1west all work without freezing and open very fast from my shares.
The only problem I have encountered is when I added my servers/shares it started using 961 from a peer rather than using my 963.
thus I got freeze!
Does anyone know how to accept only locals from peers or how to ignore certain providers IE: 961
I would normally add { 0:0:2, 961:0:0 } at the end of their cline.

and i m 100% sure i m connected to a quality server
coz i m using another cline to my dreambox from the same server and it s very fast..
with multiCAS the first 15 mins it works fine without freezes...
but after that it gets really unstable
i got standard freezes at about every 3 mins ( a 5 sec one followed by a 2 sec one)
and that s on nova

It seems that this new version of multicas has some problem with local reading of NDS card of s*y Italia from internal card reader. I reinstalled the old version of multicas on the new firmware and all is ok.
So if someone can give some explantaion I could test the new multicas again otherwise I remain on the old one.....:redface:

the first 15 minutes of starting the cam it s fine....
not a single freeze.....
after those 15 minutes i get a big freeze ( big enough for the scrambled message to appear)... every three minutes.....


and don t anyone tell me that my server is not reliable coz i don t have those problems with native cccam.....

The freezing problem is down to the restrictions on the network in the firmware. Its only NDS channels i get freezing on. this problem i feel will only go away once restrictions are lifted i get the same with native cccam and cccam module 2 . I know its not a network problem as i am able to use the same c line on a different receiver using a diablo wifi cam and it is absolutely freeze free.

one idea with diablo wifi there is a delay setting which delays the emm's maybe that might help with the issue ?

Well, I just tried the new 160c-3, and there's a priocaid.cfg now. Was there one with earlier versions? Anyway, I edited the prio file a bit, and it seems to work, at least with SECA. It seems to be a bit more stable now with the prio, although I can't tell for sure, because I haven't tested it that long yet.

my problem is multicas goes all the way to one of my peers in spain to use my 963 card which i have in a dm500 server in the next room.
very annoying problem I would normally block this at the end of there cline like this

Things that I think could do with tweaking on multicas

Ignore list for multicas.
Possible connections with other emu's ie: newcamd.
Server control ie: hop restrictions.
Info tool either as plugin or for pc.

These should be easy to implement and hopefully will arrive soon.
I think we could be looking at one of the best emu's there is then!

I got mine form normal the Openxcas down load area azworld with latest 3501 firmware exe download.


As now with prio file set to

0963 0900 1800 0500 0600 0d00 0b00 0100 1700
notice 9 if you start in telnet you can see it pick up the 9 caids and so far appears to be the best we've had.

I have stopped every plugin and at first it is solid using cccam then you get the freeze every 2 min which recovers itself in 10 secs.
local card appears to be ok but not tested fully.

One problem I have that I'm trying to get working is a 0963 on server and a 961 card in slot.
So far I can have either but not both if a pckage is not on local when inserted it does not clear even though it is looking for a 963 and a 963 is on the server. Maybe I need to use one of the other multicas options.

Just noticed my module is dated 09/10/2009 17:20 and yours is 09/10/2009 19:20 will test this later.

Just tried it it worked very well on any channel except NDS on 28.2 worked ok on NDS 13. was impressed, but without 28.2 it's no good for me.

Hi guys!

Is this version (MultiCAS-v1.60C-3) the best MultiCAS regarding connection to CCcam-server so far?

Got the E-1 version until now and working well. Only freezes every 7-8 minutes...

Delete the old and the new stretch of adding servers is a work for 2 minutes. Why not try?

are you able to clear 28.2 chanels?

Yes , everything clear ; from cccam.info in /tmp :

I don't from which of those 2 ids , as both r available on server .

Yes I can also see that Infomation in my file but it still does not clear any 28.2 channels for me. It's strange as it clears all other sats very well.

Can you try to find in FTP sesion on /tmp the file ccc_serverstatus.info? look inside and watch if you are connect or not. 1 connected and 0 not connection. I don't know if this is only for Premium or for Elite also.... In my Premium this file exists.
Maybe your c: lines only decode the other sat? and not on 28.2... really strange

Hi guys I nthink were get mixed up here I have no problems conecting with MultiCas it's CCcam 0.2 I have the problem with. ccc_serverstatus.info only exists with MultiCas and not Cccam 0.2.

Anyway this thread belongs to MultiCas and not CCcam 0.2 so I someone has the answer please start a new thread or point me in the right direction.

The strangest think happens with me.....
first 15 minutes are fine then the freezes start every second....
strange other people don t have problems....

maybe it s a cccam server version problem....
i m connecting to a 2.1.2 server.....
maybe multicas doesn t cooperate very good with that....

is there another one in here that s connecting to a 2.1.2 and it s fine?

Been ready to throw the box out the window. Was working quite well (without mega freezes) with terrorman script on a previous firmware.
Decided to upgrade and try this new multicas.
Now getting freezes every couple of minutes. The server is a 2.1.2 and thinking this may be the common factor with those of us that are experiencing the bad freezes.

Do you think is would be worth going back to a previous firmware or is there light at the end of the tunnel (soon)?

Just reinstall terrormans scripte on this firmware it works ok.
