Poor GPS Reception? [Archive]

I have upgraded my TT1 V4 (from version 8.080 with UKRI map 825.2159) with Navcore 8.24 and UKRI map 825.2157. The software works fine. However, I am no longer receiveing a GSP signal. Have driven around all day and still receive the message "Poor GPS Reception".

I have read somewhere about a QUICKGPSFIX and putting files into the ephem folder to activate the GPS. Does this make sense to anyone and could you illuminate this for me.

Don't know about the gps signal, but there's a newer map available - v835.2419 posted in here :)

I've restored the original files and everything functioned OK including GPS. I'll try upgrading again with the latest map you suggest and see if it makes any difference.

Reinstalled Navcore 8.204 with latest map v835.2419. Again the software works fine but the device doesn't lock on to a GPS signal. Oh well back to the original software which isnt the end of the world.
