Sorry, but I ask you to explain better: You have compiled the sorces and tested on you AzBox?
You hear rumors or you have first hand information?
Which firmware version, the last one 0.9.3281?

Thanks

I was able to cross compile and run the apps in the samples folder, following kanber_kav's nanox Ubuntu FAQ.

:respect-040:

Not much to see, but will post screenshots in a while.

draw/write something on tv "without" using nano-x. run some sdk sample applications on the az and let me know the results.

I wish! :)

It's still a bit early for that. I'm only able to run the demos via telnet, but I can't get them to do anything visible just yet there's probably some running processes we need to kill first, to be able to do it.

But the fact that I can compile and run them is already a good start.

and that's as far as I got, running a demo (play_gfx). But no image appeared on the hdmi.

but to reach this point I had to kill every process running at /MMP/bin and /MMP/usr/bin

I've recently was browsing HD200 community forum. HD200 is a home hd media center that uses similar to azbox sigma chip 863x. Found a nice linux kernel patch for sigma. I guess most of developers do know about it.,.. anyway.. I'll post the link here:
