go for the azboxHD good value for money, 1080p and although firmware not there yet I am happy with it- its serves the purpose. Potentially excellent when the final firmware arrives.
The 8000 is just too expensive and I just could not justify spending that sort of hard earned cash.
In its day the echostar was the best in the market, at this moment the dm8000 is in the best but quality dont come cheap

You don't say what tv you have if it's not 1080p the azboz premium will not make any difference try the technomates

The Coolstream has a fan and might be noisy
my tv is a panasonic 42v10
It's 1080p so the azbox will be fine with it

i went for a technomate 6900 super combo hd to replace my old echostar 3600.
the techno is a brilliant piece of kit - way better than the echostar
