Clarke Tec 500HD Plus Factory Reset Problem

Hi to all, would be grateful if some M8 could solve or give any info,on a problem that a mate of mine has with a new Clarke Tec 500HD Plus.When ever he unplugs his receiver from the mains and replugs it in and powers it up, his receiver go back to factory reset on its own. This happens whether he has loaded original firmware or any patch. He has patch 179p loaded at present,but to no avail.Some times it happens just by powering off via the remote control. He also hasnt the option of a detailed blind search, The receiver is only a few days old. Hope some body out there can solve the puzzle or give me the best direction to go.Cheers and thanks in advance for any info given:respect-044:

I have also a problem with fw 179p. When I connected the network / LAN / reboot ever. When disconnected LAN - works without reboot. The problem is that I need to use the newcamd protocol in this case is useless. Has anyone a solution, or will only new fw?
