Easy mistake to make!
KD and KK both are sat transmitions from germany.
KD @ 23.5e
KK @9e
As far as I know none of these are available @ 1w.

As channel numbers mean nothing to me ( or I think other members ) please explain the channel names!
As they are consecutive numbers then I think its a total set of channels on the same frequency that are going down..

Maybe you can try some of the frequencies again as some have changed, and also there have been encryption changes:

If these are the only channels that you are after then save your time, as they have changed encryption to Nagra 3,
11635 V 28500 9/10 - Now Nagra 3 and have been for quite some time, if you look in the right hand columns you will see the encryption and those that have gone to N3, the HD channels are no longer available either.
As channel numbers mean nothing to me ( or I think other members ) please explain the channel names!
As they are consecutive numbers then I think its a total set of channels on the same frequency that are going down..

But still not answered the relevant channel names!

I think that he is referring to the info below:
Kabel Deutschland starting card change
Week 40 of this year KD 23.5E will start the smartcard exchange, one year later than expected. The exchange should be done till October 28th 2009.
For the benefit of those that can speak or read German.

I have, after trying for the last 2 days, at last got a signal on that frequency. (without doing anything different) and managed to scan the channels available. but the signal keeps dropping below what my receiver likes and the picture just freezes. Is this transponder weaker that the other ones on the same beam, I wonder?
I have a motorized set up and I have tweaked the dish (horizontally) for best possible signal.
I'm in the north of England and using a 1m Obital dish.

No I don't have a TM 6900 HD super. I have a Mvision HD200

Still struggling with 3A beam. So spent all afternoon messing about with my dish/motor, initially making things worse, but eventually, after going up and down the ladder about 100 times I've got it sorted. As mentioned in earlier posts I can get most of 3A beam transponders, although programs do break up from time to time, but no luck on 12605V. It got a signal briefly last night but nothing at all today.
Looking at Astra's web site it seems that I need at least a 120cm dish, which would explain my problem, but according to the map that "Giga" posted 85cm should do, but I think I've squeezed all I can out of my 1m dish.

Pilot is an extra switch that you can toggle with a channel editor sometimes, this is on or off. Is always the same for the same satellite.

Thanks for the confirmation that 23.5 N2 is still OK. Had apparently installed rogue key bin that did not contain these channels at all. Reinstalled most recent I can find and all OK again.
Thanks.

I have never been able to get these channels with my motorised.1m dish with my tm 6800.a lot of you say I should be able to get them but never.:respect-014:
hard to tell without knowing your location?
If you draw a line from Glasgow to Bristol: that would be the boundary of its reception area. If your on the East of this it should be OK with an 85 cm dish. The further away to the West the more difficult it gets.
If you get Chamber TV on 12168 V 27500 Fec 3/4 your on the right position.
if you now scan on this position (PID Search) on transponder 11515 H 27500 Fec 3/4, you should get SAT 1 (german channel) if you get that one, you have reception for Astra 3A on that position.
you then check if you have all transponders for 3A:

if these are all there and you check in Satellite Setup or Motorized Setting the Transponder
11475 V/27500 on location 23.5E
the signal bar should show for:
Level: Yellow Blocks
Quality: Blue Blocks
If these are Showing Red it is no good
see if by moving the dish slightly left or right this improves?
If not and you have easy access to the dish check its alignment.
if you are using a downloaded channel list from a 6900HDSuper and use it on a 6800HD (non Super)
it could work if you do an Auto Navigation search on 23.5°E. there are small differences in usage of this list by Super & Non Super (Pilot marked or not)

I think that he is referring to the info below:
Kabel Deutschland starting card change
Week 40 of this year KD 23.5E will start the smartcard exchange, one year later than expected. The exchange should be done till October 28th 2009.
For the benefit of those that can speak or read German.

It's just a shame that freebe could not have been a bit more specific in his first post, instead of starting the countdown. There's always 1 smart ass.

It's slowly having the Nagra 2 switched off. The PPV and bongo PPV has gone and the rest will follow over the next few weeks.
