trouble with rds traffic receiver [Archive]

Hi I have just brought a tomtom RDS-TMC receiver. for use with my go710, with navcore 8.204 and v835.2419 uk map. When the rds unit was fitted it tried to conect for a couple of mins and then a message came up that an update file was needed to use the unit, it then said connect to tomtom home to update, but if I do this ,tt home detects that I have unorthorised software. Can I download the update from anyware, and install direct on to my sd card ? Also is there any easy way to patch my tt home to accept my ?

Some copies of maps are missing the tmccodes.dat and traffic.dat files.

Try and find these for your map.
