usb stick advice please.

Hi all it the pest here,i only ask this cos it failed to work last time.

i have firmware 2731 and i tried to put the last beta upgrade on there via the usb stick but i never got the format menu appear or anything of the sort so i couldnt upgrade the firmware.

so do i just unpack this patch to my empty usb stuck with no folder structure on there at all/

then what do i do exactly.?

Copy patch.bin to a FAT32 formatted USB stick root folder.
