hi i got my tm 6900 i am tryng to get bbc hd and itv hd on terestrial on freeview i get only sd not hd but i go to satellite 28e i get the bbc hd itv hd says not available thanks

They are not yet ON Freeview mate - only on 28E Digital sat!:respect-050:

BBC HD and ITV HD are not yet available with Freeview, they are only on Astra 2 @ 28.2 East.
The reason you get "itv hd says not available " is because it is not always showing programs, so you will only see that message and Test Card

From what I've been reading here and there, it's unlikely the terrestrial tuner in the TM will be able to receive HD broadcasts even when they become available. Something to do with DVBT1 and DVBT2 tuners. As far as I can find out, nobody is selling a tuner that will receive it yet. I live in the Granada area and they are supposed to be beginning HD terrrestrial broadcasts in this area this year. Not much use if there is nothing to receive them on.

BBC like to be able to prevent you from recording on HD terrestrial? No hardware is on the market with this possibility.
