echostar 3600 infared sensor

echostar just started playing up wont switch on with remote, tested with other remote still not working,can swith on manually but it is hard work, as anybody any ideas.thanks pace508

try cleaning the remote, ours does that sometimes, the remote gets dirty inside, clean it & it works again

there is nothing wrong with remote, it is the receiver that is playing up
