USB drive ?

hi guys,
just bought a new Dreambox 800HD but I can't seem to get it to recognise the usb drive, went to device manager & mounted it but Flash ****** doesn't see it, can you enlighten me,

I am using my external hard disk using the eSATA connection. Works well.
I had to delete the partition on the hard disk before using it.

I read somewhere that certain images don't have usb drivers at startup. I could be wrong.

1. Try deleting the partition on the hard drive.
2. If your hard drive has a eSATA try using that.
3. Try a different image.

Did you plug it in before or after you installed your first image?

i thing it is normal that
the Flash ****** doesn't see it because you are using E2.
I have the same problem on my 7020 using the E2 image. to let the Flash ****** reconised and loading the the E2 image i need to run the box with E1 Image and then the Flash *******will reconised the USB and download the E2 Image using Flash *******.
Therefore Flash*********can not be used on DM800 to flash DM 800 you need a different tool.
