I have just noticed that TVcatchup have now released a beta version for the iPhone.

Just tested it with my 3GS over wifi, and it is working very well, with an excellent picture.

If you have an iPhone, just try the following link:-

http://iphone.tvcatchup.com

Channels available are as follows:-

BBC One
BBC Two
ITV 1
Channel 4
FIVE
ITV 2
BBC Three
Film 4
E4
More 4
4 Music

I assume this will have the same restrictions as the normal website version, i.e. only available on UK IP addresses

This seems to work over the web and using the standard quicktime movie player, i.e you don't need to load the app from the Appstore, although you can store a link as an icon on your homescreen, should you desire.

Nice find. Works well on an Ipod Touch as well. I presume if your iphone is jailbroken it'll work over 3G.
:cheers2:

I have not managed to try over 3G so far, as where I am right now, I can only get GPRS, and I don't think that is up to streaming video ;)

Yes is fine with 3G as long as you have a stable signal.
