Premium HD Crashing

Hi guys,



I'm needing help. I'm using a Premium and it is crashing all the time, I'm using the latest firmware and I'm use multicas and mgcamd (one for nagra keys and the other for a cs server). The stb freezes all the time and i need to do a reboot. I don't know if is a temperature problem or some hardware problem, my az is connecting to a diseqc 1.0. Any one have or had the same problem? :eek:

Never heard of an Azbox HD freezing before. Mine never has.


To solve this, you need to go back to basics.

Has it always had a problem?
When did it start happening?

Do you have a HDD installed? If so remove it, and see if problem still exists.

Are you using wired or wireless networking?

Does it still freeze when you reflash the firmware and manual scan and watch a FTA transponder channel.

I would guess faulty HDD is most likely cause.

First thks for your comment. Since the stb is new I can say that has always had crashes, like you said I also suspect that the problem was related to the HDD, but I did the test by removing it physically and crashes still happen, I find it strange that the problem is intermittent, for example yesterday had a moment that the stb crashes twice in a short time period and after this problem I turned on the stb again and until now I don't have any problems.
