Product defect or what!?

Hi!
I have AzBox Elite. I bought it in the midlle of August. And I have a big problem with this receiver.

So when I press home button on my remote and want to navigate to settings, file manager, video etc, i get "power on" on the receiver and it restarts.
But now things getting even worse. So now sometimes (3-5 times a day) when i press volume (+/-) on the remote,
the receiver powers on (rebooting) or freezes on selected channel and all that I can do is to switch "off/on" power button on the reciever (holding 5 sec or longer on the remote doesn't work).
Remote control doesn't work, I can't change channels or anything else.
Does somebody else has the same kind of problem or is this a product defect?
P.s. This problem exists no matter which FW i have.

i had that problem.
random crashes and glitches when i update 3 or 4 versions of firmware without "cleaning it up"

make a backup of your EMU and channel list etc.
put firmware in usb.

FORMAT APPLICATION AREA (a must do everytime)
update firmware.

all good now. :)

but yes. it's common that happen if u dont format application

When I update to new FW i allways FORMAT APPLICATION AREA!

did u reset settings ? factory settings.

Do you have the same problem, if you use the button on the receiver, not an the remote-control?

when i had that problem i formated all went ok.
but once i had the problem that remote keys wont repond , only after 10 clicks.

changed batteries, all good.

no! when i use buttons on receiver - no problems. so if i want go to settings or something else, i press home botton on remote, and than use buttons on receiver.

strange. that happened to me in 2 diferent situations like i told you :)
try what i told you then keep us posted.

Yes! I also think like hfmls. Try new batteries and check this again.

Ok. Change to new batteries (Duracell), same sh...t. Than restart factory settings, delete all plugins and channel list. Than reboot, format aplication area, switch to 1. USB and tryed to press ok button on remote controle and receiver freez. Ok turn off/on on receiver. So now i can press ok on USb, receiver finds the pach and when i must press OK button to update it freez again.
what next?

format your usb pen in fat32 and put patch.bin
and try again
then do format application area 2 or 3 times...turn off azbox hd. do it again then update..and try.

if u can try other remote control.

i havn't other remote control. So i think i will send box back to seller...

i have format usb. and i instal the pach, but in settings i can't even change time... all time power on and restart...

Have you tried web-interface remote control, maybe the remote as a bug...

with web interface no problems!

Well the problem in only on the remote.........no need to try nothing else.
