Is there a white card smargo .xml script?

Hello all

i'd like to install the above, been trying with the old blue card script on the 1.67 .xml file that dont work :ack2:

so 1st question is there a script? 2nd question is it working?

i'm using 2.1.2 + 1.67

Dunno whether this'll help, but posted over at nabilosat forums:



1. Start the program.
2. Select Sly UK from the 'Use Preset' drop down box.
3. Select your Dreambox model from the 'Model' drop down box.
4. Enter your Dreambox LAN IP address.
5. Enter your box serial number. Click Create Box Key.
6. Click Generate newcs.xml
7. Click Generate CCcam.cfg
8. In the Dreambox Login / FTP Settings area you can now click the appropriate buttons to FTP the config files to the correct locations on your Dreambox.
9. Finished, Start NewCS 1.67 and CCcam on your Dreambox.

on a 2nd read it's not what i really need, what i actually need is either the newcs .xml file for the smargo or the script so i can enter it into my existing newcs .xml file

lol, ok. Just that as I read through another forum, saw that, so thought it might've helped (as assumed it would create the xml file for you).

Looking at the screenshot, is there not anything in the "Advanced mode"? There it might have stuff for what you need?

On further searching, maybe this is what you need:

From memory your node is incorrect I'm sure I used /dev/ttyUSB0 with my smargo

edit found my newcs.xml file

The config I posted above is what another person said they had used for the smargo and got it working... Not that I've a smargo to test with, but that's what it said...

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+

it's what i used with the blue card, a long long time ago :D

This is what you need bud but I don't know of anyone getting the new white card to work with this set up.

You will need to mod some of the scripts if you wish to test with newer CCcam and newcs versions :respect-048:

yeah but that's not ideally what we want!
what we want is to find a version of CCcam that works directly.
