Technomate TM500 Linux looses IP address

hi guys,

My Technomate TM500 Linux receiver is all up and running and the only problem I have is that it keeps loosing its internet connection,,which is killing my local card sharing setup.

I have UR image installed and my BB router is a Netgear router,,

Does anyone know is it the image or my BB router, my cabling is perfect,,I have checked and verified it twice.

Check your PM. From what I read elseware your router ip address should be xxx.xxx.1.1 if using older images.

Problem solved, the router was at fault, the eircom netopia router could not communicate properly with my TM500 , I replaced the netopia router with an Edimax Router and all is now working as it should.
