Running simultenous EMU´s

Is ist possible, to run simultenous EMU´s?
Such as, MultiCAS + CCcam, etc..

My problem is:

I have 3 lines in my config file which i was using with dreambox succesfully with cccam:
- 1x C line
- 2x N lines

Since the current CCCam Client 0.2 for Azbox is not still working stabil and MultiCAS is the favorite of OpenSat which is being improved with each version, i want to use MultiCAS.

But MultiCAS does not support N lines yet.

Can I make a combination of both emu´s and run them simultenously?

-> MultiCAS with 1x C line
-> CCCam Client 0.2 with 2x N lines

Or what else can I try?

Cccamd2.1.1/dvbapi works with both cline & nline . Also gline is OK .

But, i think Cccamd2.1.1/dvbapi is not working as stable and fast as MultiCAS. And MultiCAS is being improved permanently.

That´s why, i want to try a combination of both methods.
1xC line -> with MultiCAS
2xN lines -> with CCcam Client 0.2 (or Cccamd2.1.1/dvbapi)

Can they work simultenously?

You can run CCcam in debian (on your azbox) and let multicas read that Cline.

I use cccam 2.1.1 with dvbapicas . It still works great with this firmware too .

you can trust me, at the Moment only Mbox is running fine over Month, without reboot, without restart mbox, without any Support.
It just works only :)

So if you need a support free Emu, there is only mbox for now (of course no connect to CCcam)

and another Tip!

If you have an own Card, dont use internal Reader with NewCS. Its the Problem for some freezes with Mbox.
Since I use a Smargo+ for my Card I dont see any freeze.
But simular I have also installed new Firm 3661

Nothing with Mbox 0.6

With Mbox 0.4.23 3rd Upload you can connect to old Gbox Protocol.
Of course with both Versions you can use NewCS Clines


So again:
Mbox 0.6 all Versions = only compatible with same Versions, better no mix like Mbox 0.6.06 and connect to mbox 0.6.10

Mbox 0.4.15- 018 = gbox
Mbox 0.4.20 up to 0.4.23=gbox
best Version for gbox is Mbox 0.4.23 rd upload MultiECM fix

CCcam=only compatible to CCcam and NewCS
Mgcamd = gbox,NewCs,Camd3, Radegast (NO Cccam,only with 1.34 for Refrigerator named Coolstream ;) (its not really cool))

rqcamd= Newcamd Protocol(NewCS)

Multicas=CCcam ONLY! for now only Client or Server with other Multicas(only one Line)

Cardserver

A Cardserver cant descramble anything on your Screen, you need always a Client. A Cardserver is like it named, only for your local Card, if your Client cant handle your Card.
Most(all?) Cardservers understand Newcamd Protocol, and most CLients understand this, too, so you can always share your own Card to a used Client.

NewCS 1.20RC13 (only one with working internal Cardreader AZHD)
can connect to all Emus, but not gbox direct(only with cs2gbox between)

NewCS 1.67RC1 (not USB Version! ) need an external Reader like Smargo+, an USB2serial Adapter like FTDI or PL2303.
All three are working on AZHD, only PL2303 is not implemented (mabe with last firm, dont check), you need to implement yourself with .KO Package(you must do this after every reboot!)

NewCS 1.67RC1 USB Version you need an extra lib for it, libusb-0.1.so.4 (Rights 755, copy in libs, every reboot you must do it again!) I see no better working with this, because no native Driver for smargo there.

OScam 0.94 and MPCS 1.06.04 doesnt work with my Smargo but worked fine with USB2serial, for most Cards

There are other Cardserver like Sbox, but only working with a few Cards.

So the urgent one are there and explained.

Best working up to today on AZH is Mbox 0.6.10 and Mbox 0.4.23 3rd Edition (here no allow list implemented and some different Settings to Mbox 0.6)

Multicas is doing its Way and will be better, maybe one Time Server without Restrictions, so we see in Future a better one.
For Client it is OK, but far away from stability from Mbox.

with Server(Server you must understand only to other Multicas/AZHD) only 1 Line, as Client 36 Lines
