Plugin for entering codes into dm800

Hello satpimps members

Is there a plugin which allows Biss keys to be entered directly into the dreambox, I remember with my old Technomate TM-5000, I used to select a channel, press a button and a little box appeared which allowed me to enter the code in, does anything like this exist for dreambox?

Dependent on which image you use, you should be able to just download the most up to date keys from the menu, or by installing a plugin.

On Nab 012 for example, blue panel then red button does it.

that's true, I want to try out some keys which I found on the net which is the reason I am asking ;-)

depending on image you have several key downloaders/editors .

newnigma2 i use has a key manager plugin which allows you to enter keys
by remote , but it's much easier to just use notepad and when you sort the
file just ftp it over to your box .

i guess you are trying decrypted words , these normaly do not appear in
complete downloadable files , so just edit on your pc and ftp to the box .

cool I found you can use DCC to edit the keys and just save it back, which is cool :)

is there any way to enter b!ss-1 key which are 12 digits long into softcam.key file in dm800? i googled and cannot find any useful info at all :(

if you use cccam , editing decrypted words to SoftCam.Key will do you no good .
the emu uses it's own file - /var/keys/constant.cw .

mgcamd though will work , syntax is as follows ,

F abcd 1234 00 0000000000000000 ; dw0
F abcd 1234 01 0000000000000000 ; dw1

two bytes are only checksum and not used in some equipments , hence you got only 6 bytes - you can enter 00's in their place .

ok so below is example bi55-1 key (this is an imaginary key not a real one)

111111111111

in softcam.key file I put

F 0001FFFF 00 0000111111111111 ;
F 0001FFFF 01 0000111111111111;

and that will work?
