Changing system font

Changing the system font in latest 9.3686. Not sure if it's been posted before. I used arial bold, looks much better.


1. mount -o remount,rw -t ext3 /dev/hda1 /MMP

2. ftp arialbd.ttf to /MMP/hd/System/font

3. "rm Font1.ttf" symlink in /MMP/hd/System/font

4. Create new symlink "ln -s arialbd.ttf Font1.ttf" in /MMP/hd/System/font

5. mount -o remount,ro -t ext3 /dev/hda1 /MMP

6. Reboot

do these fonts look better than the default fonts in the system, whick look really terrible under SD?

so putting the fonts in plugins map, and then select the font in the settings menu, doesn't work anymore ?????????????

Works for me with MgOpenModernaBold.ttf in the EMU directory.

use other kind of font. :)

put Font in USB Stick and add it under Settings is the easiest and best Way without a Crash
