Hello!

Think I'm finally getting my head round CCcam and I've been testing some free servers.

But, entering them is a pain in the arse. For example, if a server allows username: john1 ---> john 1800. How do you add that to the .cfg file? It looks like you have to try john1, start cccamXXX -dv, see if it works, kill it, edit the .cfg, try john2...

That can't be right can it?

Cheers for any advice.

p.s. The ones I've been trying are Newcamd servers so I've been using N: lines in my .cfg.

If you have been given access to a server then the peer would simply give you a c line.

Have you been given this ?

Misread your post, you are trying free Newcamd servers so you add an N line like the example in the cfg, you just change the user name, pass and port number.

Only thing I've been able to clear so far is Arsenal TV

Anyway, thanks for your reply Sonic1. My question was, do I have to keep putting in lines until I find a password that works? It looks like CCcam picks up the first occurance of each server (server = ip + port) in the cfg so it'll pick up the line with john1 in it and never try the other usernames.

Some of the adverts use an ip and a range of port numbers. CCcam treats each pair as a seperate server and picks them all up out of the cfg. But most adverts use multiple usernames on the same server and I couldn't work out how people were trying all these different usernames without entering one, trying it, entering the next one.....

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers.

as you have found these on an open forum , there will be many trying to login with same user/passwd kicking eachother in and out of the server :)

Then cccam will choose the best one.

Hi, thanks for replying. I didn't think I'd explained it very well.

So you think CCcam is smart enough to try all the lines until it finds one that works? If I put the same line in 1800 times with a different username each time, it'll try them all?

I'll keep playing with it then!
