On a brighter note.

Get out light the bonfire and send up some rockets or at least light a sparkler.

Do not know if its a welsh custom, maybe only the english do it?

I think most problems have been discussed already, which are to be solved by OpenSat. Apart from those, there do no seem to be so much issues which cause frequent questions.

Most of the answers can be found here on the forum, especially if one reads the sticky topics ;-)

Are you sure???
I think people are bored to speak about the same things without (opensat) solution. I know opensat is working hard, but now not too much new future to speak about...

Furthermore, the most of italian owner (as I am) are busy with another important question: our sat television is not watchable with azbox or other linux based decoder even if with regular subscription because provider changed some ECM commands and now we must use only their decoders:beatdeadhorse5:

So for us, for italian marketplace, if decoder manufacturer want to sell one more decoder must work on the possibility to use our regular subscription.
We wait good news from multicas software, it could be the azbox killer application for our marketplace.

I heard that almost immediately, as the "attack" happened, a certain oldie in our hobby, in possession of GBox source code, sorted it out for himself, so his network enjoys full $ l y IT...:coolgleamA:

We'll see if and when algo is sorted.... ;)

I heard something like that, there are some youtube videos with channels opened in linux based decoder.

I know, some people are working on Oscam sources, but is not clear how to solve the "attack".
I hope we may enjoy to watch tv using azbox ASAP, I hate to use $ l y decoder!

I hope in a gift from mbox... :-))

...but several people thinking that these videos are fakes.

What about if we connect to the same scart input two scarts coming one from slybox and one from dreambox and then recording the result?....

then you would be recording from sly box.

easy to tell diference with as there is no way to use dreambox gui.

I don't know about that... The guy who sorted it out in GBox [allegedly] is "commercial", so I wouldn't expect him to help anyone but himself... :( [His "partner" is "out of the game", as we know [the author of GBox], so nothing coming from him either, I bet!] Those who saw $ l y IT going on his network agree with my assessment of him and his [in]actions, btw... :(

Which tells a story: they get it all, all the info for free, everything they need - and then.... Sad, really sad...

But he's not the only clever sod in "our" midst, so to speak... ;)
