got a tm9100s with new white uk sly card will it work in diablo cam using uw 1.82 or will it work in the card reader slot 1 or 2

no idea about the diablo , check the diablo cam section

as for using the white card in the tm9100 card reader , you will have to use a recent cccam and newcs , and probably add your boxkey

cccam2101+newcs 1.67 installed but will not read card. but cccam 2.1.0.2 will reconize card as nds in slot 2 but will not unscramble channels if box key is requried where do we find it and where do we put it in box any help appreciated:banghead:

read the dreambox section as there is info in there about using telnet commands to interrogate a blue card ( not a white card ) for the box number

afaik you will have to get newcs to use newcamd to talk to the card and without the boxkey it may only get the basic channels so concentrate on getting ch5 or similar to decode first

mine works in both slots using the ur23 image and the cams that came with the image no box key needed just put the card in. I think it is mg camd +CSI

Sly card working now but only on basic channels. how do we insert the box key in to tm9100s what directory

I have not tested the following info but it was given to me in a cccam 213 thread

So with your example of A1 B2 C3 D4 it would be :-


BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 A1 B2 C3 D4

BOXKEY: <device> <byte1> <byte2> <byte3> <byte4>

The line can be added anywhere in your CCcam.cfg and if you have a look at the default cfg with 2.1.3 you will see the same info I posted.

Newcs is no longer needed as long as your box reads cards directly with CCcam so your DM800 would be fine.

I think your TM9100 needs NewCs to read the card so you would still need Newcs 1.67 with CCcam but I may be wrong.

Boxkey only need for the new white card 0963 , the old blue card 0961 works the same way it always did


so that info should allow people to check their system is working , but as it only needs the boxkey for sport and movies anyway there is only a need for it if those channels are being paid for and entitled
