Noticed A few connection probs when restarting multicas trying to connect to cccam 2.0.11 does connect eventually after a bit of channel flicking and then works flawlessy once connected

Nilines are the improvements aswell as no freeze on nds uk which the previous 2 had probs with

Looks like this version has broken the Seca card support, can someone confirm this? I think that this problem was also in 1.60E.
I need to revert to 1.60D-D07 to get back my seca channels.

It has connected to my dm500 server with cccam 2.0.11 ok but does not see all providers only a few can no longer see 963 which is local in dm500

Can only see 1702 1801 1803 0baa

Seems a bit tempramental.

hi carp i installed this but still seems to be freezing every now and then. i have 3 good peers with 0963 nds but still the same few sl y uk glitches. all other channels as per usual seem fine just sly every now and then freezes for sec

Like 0963 on first server is on hop2 and on second server is on hop1 just keep hanging on first server, trying to figger it out now

if I uninstall, restart, install it again and restart again works fine for a couple of hours or until re-boot then same problem again!

i can confirm the problem: if i use native cccam i can see all cards/providers from server, with multicas sometimes not all cards/providers are visible... after reboot or restart multicas, the list changes everytime. seems not stable connecting with server (ccc 2.1.2)

We have had this in the Past with Mbox.
All went fine, but no ECM working.
My solution was, deinstall OpenX**** and reinstall, after that all works fine

i think opensat knows that they need for manpower and a new active team, splitted by media center / tv etc ec.

an admin in official forum said that they were hiring new staff for this latest months..december, etc.

again, we got wait :(


but i bet next new firmware is gonna be really good. they have a good beta tester now, bigfatgiant, he test every bug that users report in official forum and officaly reports it, opensat now only releases firmware after all bugs reported are fixed and no new bugs generated.

i think there are like 3 or 4 firmwares releases to beta testers and they test all bugs in those, and they say if they are allready fixed or not.

so, it's the good way to go. my opinion.

Just let OpenSat handle their own PR stuff and only post facts when real firmware is out. Unless they pay you... you should stop making people think something that has not been proven to be true in our past experiences... when they change we will all notice!

Yes... as this is not the "official" forum we can talk about true facts here... I think it is helping people realize that we should not provide more $$$ to OpenSat until we have what we were promised on the box (specs and features). If this is called bashing I am happy to do so.

If people looking for advice on what box to buy read hfmls posts they will get the wrong idea. PR or marketing working here... IMHO it is wrong! So I keep posting to correct, until proven otherwise... it is easy just release fully working 1.0 firmware! It is about time!

Someone said the nds freeze problem was solved!

BS!!! I still cannot record on 28.2E HD channels - numerous big freezes and frequent breakups. Is anyone able to record successfully on any of these channels with their card in internal reader?

i dunno when. :S but if they release a multicas thinking on next firmware, probably is vey very soon.

i hope losts of changes :S because major bugs were reported and confirmed in official forum.
