Folks,

Is there any small cheap wireless type adaptor(usb or lan) that can be connected to the Elite model to pick up wireless? My router is nowhere near where I'm placing the box so was wondering of anything exists that can help me.

Thanks.

You could get a wireless gaming adapter or something similar. Maybe you could hack one apart and get it to run on usb power.

Got a couple of Linksys high speed (>100mbs) off e*Bay for under 50e each (great price) and they work great

Yes but a usb wifi dongle is cheaper than 2 Linksys High Speed.

On my DM800 i can use a dlink DWL-G122 (price 12 euro) without problem.

True but hard to beat a hardwired connection if you are willing to spend the extra

Installing one of them, will the WLAN speed restriction be lifted then?

Best regards!

I dunno how your German is, but on a German forum , there is a guy busy, to put a new wlan inside the premium (to get more speed), so it will maybe work for elite also ???
