Garmin XT freezing on n96 after 30mins

Got garmin xt working fine on n96 but it keeps totally freezing after 30 mins, every time, have to reboot phone, any ideas

I sometimes get xt locking up. I think it has something to do with the traffic update on GPRS, the program just cant cope.
This is on my windows phone running 5.00.20w. You don't say what version you are running.
