Also looking for how to install, do I need a specific version of CCCam for the IceCrypt s4000 or will just placing the files in the specified folders work?
I just updated the firmware to latest vesion 107.69 but still Menu ****> Red and Menu ****> Blue does nothing.

Thanks

If you have upgraded to IRD 1.07.69 then you need to go into the cas menu and enter 1407 this will allow you to switch on or off the Multicas internal smartcard reader.
To use a Plugin like Incubus you need to switch off the internal smartcard reader. Once you switch off the smartcard reader reboot the receiver and then you can use menu and red to activate the plugin, menu and blue switches of the plugin.
Plugin has to be ftp into the receiver and edited to your server etc.
Hope this helps.

Hi Reboot, these are good steps
this works fine:
menue 1407 to switch off or on
menue + red = do I need to hold menue and then to click red?

What do you mean by plugin has to be ftp? How do I install the plugin?

you can copy via FTP the files from plugin into /var/etc and var/bin, then just never forget to switch the chmod to 755.
this thread can be closed. issue resolved

Do you have to FTP, or just copy in windows as the resuly I would have thought was the same?

Also, how do you switch the chmod to 755 - is this when editing the config file?
Thanks FC

Same.

Telnet to box with Putty or other telnet client and then type in "chmod 755 pathtoyourfile"- without the quotes of course and where pathtoyourfile is the file you want to change - either full path or just the name if you have already navigated to the correct directory.

Hope this helps.

After saying all that I get an error as soon as I run octagon.sh40 (CCCam) - something about internal PTI and decoding.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
