- Mod : MultiCAS's memory lowered

- Add : New BISS Nat Geo Wild HD (24.5W)

- Fix : Big bug about CCcam (missing get infromation from server)

after a bit more testing i came to the conclusion that is not stable enough.....

i have freezes every 3 minutes

and sometimes struggles a lot to connect to the server...

exactly the same situation as the first multicas releases with cccam support

what the hell are we gone back to the start again?

rolled back to D05 again (the most stable version of multicas yet)

firm 3686
cccam server 2.1.2

I'm testing on Hd 28 NDS at the moment Added quote just for ref:

I think this is as good as D05 at the moment still testing on 28 HD for 30 mins and no major hitches yet still not perfect. It's sound I have problem with not picture freezes.

As i said.....
The problem is when connecting to a 2.1.2 server...
The same as first Multicas releases that had compatibility problems with 2.1.2
that later got fixed....

Now these compatibility issues are back again....

With older versions of cccam server it s working fine

connecting to a 2.1.2 server? in version cccam.cfg

I also connect to a 2.1.2 server.

I do think it maybe dependant on which channel. I watched one channel for 1hr 30 mins with no problems but on another 3 freezes in 3 mins then settles down but still get occasional glitches.

The file size was lowered, tho free mem 'free' output shows
Mem: 101500 98168 3332 0 2032

could you 'strip' the object file or build it with optimizing flags -O, -O2?

thanks! :respect-051:

I don't know who is producing these versions,
maybe HFMLS has a contact on this or another board to pass info on.

It appears to drop 3 ecm's in the first 5 mins and then holds out without droping anymore.

ya d05 only one that works halfway god for nds 28e! such a shame really. i plugged my old dreambox pvr600 in to test slines to make sure something was not wrong and watched 4 hours of sly uk without single glitchback to azbox and freeze after 12 minute! such a shame that a 40 euro chinese import stands up better than my azbox! still have faith in the azbox though so fingers crossed they get this sorted before sly uk cancels out cs with the extended ecms which is due to happen when they have all their whitee cards issued - within next moth as reported in this months wotsat!

Actually, after a little better and not just a quick zapping exercise - being on a channel a bit longer, that is!!! - even French and Scandinavian channels have loadsa shorter or longer freezes... VERY annoying!!!

Not sure why, must investigate...

Mbox is much better, on the same package... :)

So, it is not the FW, I think...

I have 3725+1.61c,
Try zapping channels on 9E, extremely slow - takes about 15+ seconds to switch to another channel. Also my azbox once lost its channel list after reboot and I had to reinstall it from backup. I had once 'reboot me' message. It looses EPG information after some time and cant get it back. What I mean - all these versions need more testing before going public..

goran
18-11-2009, 06:49 PM
Yes, hfmls, Mbox is better than MultiCAS on any FW!

hfmls
18-11-2009, 06:54 PM
no, i was asking if in this firmware, mbox as a server is better, without freezes

goran
18-11-2009, 06:58 PM
Better than MultiCAS? MC is not a server yet - a proper server.

Come to think of it - neither is Mbox... as yet...

But, apparently, it is being worked on! ;)

I´m still having problems with this issue. Seems like none of you have a solution for this...

after box´s stand by, MultiCAS seems to need a bit more time to start than the box itslef, and the first screen to be displayed after stand by in the tv mode is almost (ca. 90% - depends on length of the stand by modus) every time: "Scrambled". Waiting about 10secs and CHANGING channel makes MultiCAS run properly. What should I change in the configs?

goran

Nothing you can do. That's the way it is.

Besides, you want it not to start immediately but with a delay of between 10 and 15 s.

So how can you solve the problem recording from stand by?
