The French package OK, on quick inspection, as above... Takes a bit longer to open, mind. Zapping is slow. HD is NOT openning but not sure I have it in the network, to be honest.

Spanish package OK! HD doesn't open - not sure if it should on my CCcam network, mind...

Dutch package is OK! With usual problems around openning Film 1.3...

Orange is OK.

No, Willy, I do not have S k y IT and I have no one with S k y IT in the local of his AZbox HD, using his MultiCAS as a server, so I could hook onto his MultiCAS with my MultiCAS CS protocol. That is rare, I am sure!

Hence, telling us to test is just plain wrong, to my mind. Do they not test it or what?

They should let us know if it is working or not in the Readme.

They do have Beta Testers, you know...

All else is just laughable...

I did try with latest unoffical release but got lots of ECM drops.

Re oscam - allegedly, the author is working on implementing CCcam protocol to it... Imagine, first the client and then the server, too [thanx Tinos, taken from AZbox.ES]:


there is still much to do. the cccam has some specifications witch makes it quite difficult to handle it in mpcs. so at this time it only works with one client and one caid, but i already have an idear how to implement it, to support more user and more caids ... but i have not build the structures i need for that. so you need to be patient :-)

currently i am only working on a cccam client for oscam
ecm from client -> oscam -> cccam
cw from cccam -> oscam -> client

the server is not implemended yet.

but there is still much to do for the client! at this time i am able to connect to cccam, get the card infos, send ecms to the cards and send back a cw to the client.

what is still to do:
priorising caids, if a card answer is "cant decode" ask next card, save the last card witch answered etc.

On the other hand, I did say I saw it and I put my objections: not that it doesn't work in MultiCAS but that the writers are asking us to test if original card is working in the reader or not. That is ridiculous!

How about my report, how come you "conveniently forgot" to mention I carefully tested it, spent some time doing it, GAVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE, i.e. I was more than fair, I was not just criticising but actually working on my assessment and praising what was achieved...

i have to say and i hate maybe speaking too soon but this version of multicas for me so far seems the best. i have just watched 3 hours of sly one hd - no freeze sound or picture! watching arts1 hd now and same. either my peer has got better connection or multicas cs has just increase 10000% on nds 28e!! also zap and clear time seems to have become lightening quick! just when i was thinking of selling my azbox due to the twin tuner fiasco i am maybe leaning back to this box? instead of criticism comes praise this time! Well done to all concerned with this version!

No I've finished my test with FW 3661 and latest Multicas and not just a 30 min look it's the best just to find later it's not.

I have to say that this is the best release we have ever had for watching 28 NDS both HD and SD not recorded anything so can't comment on that.

watched over 5 hours with no sound or freeze problems and it only droped 4 ecm's in total.

about newcamd, multicas has the support, but only works in new firmware.
