DM800 Playback problem

I've searched the forum and not found any threads that mention the issue I have, although there are some comments relating to automatic epg which I have now disabled.

My DM800 records Ok, but when I try to play a recording the box crashes - green screen, generates crashlog and reboots. I have updated with secondstage_75-r0 and dvb-modules_2.6.12-5.1 but no change. I do see a few seconds of the recording before it green screens.

Running BH .11 on a genuine DM800 and I've done an update from Software Manager.

Sent the crashlog to Dream as instructed but had no response from them.

Any suggestions would be most gratefully received

I have no problem with playback on mine, you could try loading the new drivers released today.

I have just tried to load the new drivers using 'Manual Install IPK packages' and had one message.

Invalid magic

Is this normal for this update?

No this is not normal, I am keeping an eye on dreambox update site where I will get the IPK file from.
So far I have only found manual installation files.

As soon as I get them I will upload them.

Tried the new drivers to no avail.

However I was advised to reinstall BH which fixed the problem.
