you can add ITV HD channel with the following procedure;
Main MENU > SYSTEM TOOLS > SERVICE LIST MANAGER > You can see 3 sections: All service / Selected Service / Select Edit Mode (if there is no Select Edit Mode section, you can pop up with Yellow button)> Select “Edit Service” in Select Edit Mode > you can go into Add service by pressing Green button > input the right information of ITV HD.

The information is as follows

Frequency 11426
Polarity H
Symbol rate 27500
FEC 2/3
Video Stream Type : MPEG4
Video PID : 3401,
Audio Stream Type : MPEG1
Audio PID : 3402
PCR PID : 3401

Only problem is it only broadcasts about one program a day, starwars is on tomorrow tho :)

On my vantage hd 7100s i need to set Frequency > 11428 mhz

(It not working with 11426mhz) maybe only a Vantage prob Greets

is it worth it for HD?surely people dont need better pic than there already is...
i have a normal Philips TV,i watched footy on ITV other day..and that felt like it was HD..even though it wasnt hd channel and i aitn got hd tv!

If you aint got hd telly then you wont be used to watching hd content so how could it feel like you was watching in it in HD??

If there was not a massive diference in HD to SD there would not be such high demand!

If you watched HD for more than a couple of programs you would notice going back to SD

i dont know!!,think if you want good hd content you need to go for a sly hd,some of the programs on bbc hd are broadcast in sd even though it's a bbc hd,like pmps say itv hd only broadcast a few programs a daylike a can of worms hd dicussion init:respect-055:

Football on ITVHD is clearly superior to the same in SD. Then again I've been watching football on some appalling quality european channels for years.

ITV HD is just a waste of time (in my oppinion) why have a channel that just sits there on a holding page and advertise it as a HD channel when its never on ! just a good way of shifting freeview HD boxes i think.

ITV as a whole is a waste of time but I really don't mind what channel the football is on if I can watch in HD for free - although I don't generally like ITV commentary - marginally better than Bulgarian though ;-)
