Here's a me ta file just for some the v840.**** maps

hi russ i dont know if i am stupid but i dont know where to put this file, i am using bbs tools and navcore 8.2,i format sd card copy navcore then maps to sd card then copy me**a to maps, run bbs goto activate map but then comes up with no m**a file in folder please help doing my head in thanks..ken

first of all is the map you are wanting to use actually in this me.ta text file ?
also if you are using the benbbs keygen navigate to where you launch the keygen from and you will see a me.ta file there open it and enter the details for the map you want or click the update button from the keygen to download the newest me.ta files directly

Open the me ta file from above with Notepad & copy all the text.

Open BBSTools - click on Keygen - Me ta - Edit - then add the copied text to the existing file & save.

Not too sure what's updated ken - forum software has edited your post - w**a ??

I had to use BBSTools (had problems with Albert's activation tool) to activate the v840.2562 map on my Go500 with Navcore v8.204 - I had to edit the BBSTools me ta file using method I posted earlier - just edit me ta in BBS & then save.

thats really neither here nor there as they me ta files should work regardless. although i would recommend the benbbs keygen over this my self

which exact map are you trying to activate ?.

Ken - if you use the latest bbstools posted here -

you can use the update ME TA button to get the latest me ta file & the UK map me tas are all included on the update.
I see you're using Navcore v8.2 - so you will be able to use the v840.2562 map.
