Tomtom go 730 help?

Hi,

Sorry guys i'm new to this and never done this before, hoping to get some advise.

Just wondered if someone could kindly advise me on how to update my tomtom go730, maps and cameras please? I've seen some very helpful stuff about megaupload, but not really sure what to do and advise of the following, do I have to register myself with that website, whether there are any charges, and what steps would i need to follwo please?

First - make a full back up copy. You don't need to register on megaupload or any similar sites, but it may take you a bit longer to download some of the files etc.

Use Tomtom Home to update to the latest Navcore (Tomtom software), then patch the ttsystem file on your Tomtom & then activate the map. This handy tool posted here will do the patching & activating :-
