I haven't installed any new patches on my 6900 super hd for some time. Looking at the latest patches I am nervous about how to do these as they talk about factory resets etc. Before I have just put the new patch on with a usb stick.

Before installing the the latest patch which I think is called a magic patch could someone give me step by step instructions on how it should be done please.

Hi Giga,

I'm a little confused by this part:-

Main Menu
USB
Data Transfer
If you get a choice [/USB1][/USB0] 1 is the stick, 0 would be the USB Harddisc, make your choice where to put your backup channellist
● Upload Channel
after this you find your current channellist with this format Year Month Day- Time when recorded 20091129-134035.CNDF (keep always a safe copy on your computer.
● Upload Key
after this you find your current softcam with this format Year Month Day- Time when recorded
20091129-134035.key
Exit to channel
8 2 8 1 Server List Window opens
(SAT) CSInfo Upload
after this you find your current CSinfo with this format Year Month Day- Time when recorded
CSInfo_20091129-134035.txt

Unzip the PhantompatchTM6900HDSuper_ ###p.rar (7zip works with both: Rar & Zip)

I saved the first two files, but when pressing 8281 and accessing the server list, there is no CSInfo upload option. What do I need to do to get that option? I've tried pressing the Sat button?

I have a 6900 Super that was patched by the previous owner, so have no idea of what revision it is? Is there a list of what the later patches offer over the original?

Also, are you able to describe how the filter works on the 8281 menu?

Cheers, Lee
