ITV HD New launch

Any knows on whether we would be able to get ITV HD on the D'albs Kaon HD receiver finally. I understand it's going to be launched on free view as from 2/12/09, in some areas. I live in London south east, SE12?

No HACK s/w in Kaon HD DGA ... That STB is Operator STB ..They even dont know what's ITV HD in AL.

When you scan this TP, the channel comes in as "10510", on my DM800 I have to manually enter some additional parameters in DBEdit

Note, I use the K - Keep option to stop these parameters being overwritten during a rescan.

I had no trouble finding the channel with my TM6900 either, just scan and then rename 10510... If you can see Brit Shorts, it's on the same TP.

I thought we were all here to help one another , not complain about answers like the one mrbleu posted

this is not the tm6000 forum , so anyone with a tm6800 or tm6900 issue , or any other box , should post a new thread in the correct forum and not in general satellite or freesatHD , and that especially goes for tm6800 or tm6900 owners too

as for some of these answers above , they do not even reply to the original poster LIO in post 1 with any answers to his queries , which I for one find disrespectful to thread owners and against forum etiquette

whereas the answer by mrbleu did at least include full details on the actual channel in question , which has been available on almost all HD boxes since its inception , albeit its a bit of a fudge getting it to work on most boxes

hiya ,, 1st thanks for ya help .. re the services diagram ,,but mine is a techomate 6800hd NOT A DREAM BOX , , i entered the frequency under pid search and entered the vpid part ie 3401/3402/3401 and 10510 DOES come up BUT only under the radio section when the scan is done ,, BRIT SHORTS does show not itv hd.. ANYWAY JUST HAD TO MENTION .. sorry if on wrong

Use channel editor and change it from radio to tv. Simple as that.

Thank you all for your comments. In some of the feedback from you guys it seems that for some is relatively easy to get it, but on my Kaon Hd, (which is the original D'alb paired receiver), unfortunately you can't enter everything manually, I've tried entering the correct frequencies for itv hd, but all i get is the brits shop channel only. Regarding my last bit, any news on whether itv hd is in fact being placed on freeview, as if that's the case shouldn't be a problem as i can get BBC HD with the same receiver.

Comag HD-S CI 100 , still does not work with ITV HD. Just an example that I know of.

you may need to check your settings as I am sure this is the same as my system and I have had both STV HD and ITV hd working for over a month now..

in fact I am watching ITV hd on the comag right now as I type this and the picture is fluid and crystal clear :) cant wait for STV hd to show consistent now.

Sailfin, these posts you are replying to regarding difficulties receiving itvHD are all from last year...

At the time, itvHD was transmitted on 11426H via an unorthodox method to keep it exclusive to freesat, and couldn't be viewed by many receivers. It is, of course, now a FTA channel and can be accessed by any HD receiver.

there are now regional versions of itv HD some are 1440x1080 some are 1920x1080
scan this in as it should be 1920x1080
