nabilo 12 upgrading?

I am currently on v7 thinking of moving to nabilo 12 is it plug and play or should i watch out for anything

nabilo 12 is great just dont put on a clone unless its the patched version of nab12

Nothing else to lookout for should work fine

Just upgrade with the classic browser procedure.

and don't forget to do the system manager to save your settings, or make backups of your settings some other way...

thanks i don't have a clone, the reason i am changing is that my dish has stopped moving and i may have a corupt file stopping it, so i thought i would upgrade and fix the motor at the same time

Hi wwe, if your DM800 is truly a genuine box then I would strongly recommend you use the Nab flash image and put the nab 12 image on a usb stick as multiboot using Meoboot which is built into the Nab flash image.

That way, if you dont like any aspects of the image you can play with other images without too much hassle.
