There are some free Viasat channels on Sirius 5E, which can be cleared with other receivers. Is it possible to get them with the AZBox, in some manner?

I get the above channels on a TM 6800 HD. Lost them at the mo cos my motorised dish needs an alignment check.

OP is misleading as these channels are encrypted not 'free'.
You could say that every channel is free if you buy the right receiver or card.

Yeah, but they are actually "free", the national channels are SoftNDS crypted and if you call Viasat and have an NDS receiver they will activate them for you for "free", you need to give them your NDS box-ID.
so you could borrow an existing box n°? and eventually use it on an emu that can handle these?

not as I understand it, there is an emu built in the official boxes, this gets activated though special EMM, I would guess... The official firmware was decompiled and thats how they found the algorithm for SoftNDS, at that time, there was alot more channels that was able to be decrypted...

I think he means national Swedish, Norwegian and Danish channels.
I also guess he means these channels.
Well, gCam can do it. At least it could.
But last time I checked it with gCam it didn't work.

Yes, I ment those national "free" channels. I dont understand the policy once they are free, why should they be encrypted though?
Anyway, they can be cleared nearly with any other box, but not the AZ box. Then I give gCam a chance, I see what happens. Thanks a lot.

Yes, gCamd seems to work. However, the norwegian channels have frequent interruptions (appr. every 50 sec), as I experienced with some channels in CheopsCamd. Does that mean they are cleared via CS?
