I have the older Nabilo DM8000 Pure Flash (of 01jul09) in flash and three images on USB, now using NabiloSat v0.12.
Have never updated drivers or second stage yet. As the two files are often updated and posted - is it recommendable that I update them every time the new are available, needed or not, just in case? As I understand it can solve particular bugs and doesn´t do a harm to my setup in any way, right? I believe I have to install them in flash, do I have to install them in images in multiboot too? Both being .ipk files I ftp them in var/tmp and then install manually from the Addons menu in the Green panel, right?

If its not broken why fix it? The newer releases certainly have bug fixes. Have you spotted any bug which annoys you? Then look at the changelogs, see if its fixed and go for it.

As I said, just in case. I might not know there´s a bug somewhere, but then, updating the two files takes care of it. Doesn´t it make sense?

Do I install it in flash only or in multiboot images also?

All updates and drivers should be installed in flash :respect-055:

And in to the images also...

When the drivers were updated to allow the **** uk nds card to work, straight in the card reader, it would only work when it was updated in both the flash and each image...

So yes, update both the flash, and the images you use on usb...
