CS will work if Your friend has a DB or AZ :respect-055:

Not exactly true. This is my solution that i use:
Buy a AV - USB cable.
Plug composte and audio into the back of the AZBox
Plug USB into the Computer.
Create a batch script with VLC,http output i use vcodec H.264 and acodec MP4 (aac), scale 0.70 vbitrate = 575, audio bitrate = 128 48000Mhz
Works fine, can even watch when at work, using the mobile phone as internet connection, have free internet, and dont get charged.
You can also stream to websites as it recognises the AV - USB cable as a capture device.
Cost me £35 for the cable, so not the ideal alternative, but is an alternative as the AZBox supports multiple outputs with no loss or distortion to normal viewing.

A lay person's question: isn't there a digi-analogue-digi conversion somewhere?
